PeopleSoft Financial Management Production Database
The PeopleSoft Financial Management production instance will be available 24 hours daily except during the regular maintenance window*. Nightly processing will begin Monday - Friday at 5:00 p.m. (except on University holidays) and will continue until all processes are complete. Caution should be used when accessing the system during nightly processing as it may yield slow response time or inconsistent results, depending on what part of the job stream is being performed.
PeopleSoft Financial Management Reporting Database
The PeopleSoft Financial Management reporting database is refreshed at 4:45 a.m. every morning with a copy of the production database. This instance is available 24 hours daily except during the regular maintenance window*.
Web Applications & Reporting
Web applications and financial reports are available 24 hours daily except during the regular maintenance window*. There may be occasional outages while production processing occurs and messages will display that indicate the reason for the outage.
Cutoff Times
To ensure your transactions are included in the daily transaction processing, it is recommended that all feeds, journal entries, CRR's, or vouchers are completed by 6:00 p.m. Any items not picked up in the current day processing will be processed during the next processing cycle.
*Regular Maintenance Window
6:00 p.m. Saturday - 12:00 Noon Sunday PeopleSoft production databases may be unavailable due to hardware and software maintenance during this period.
