210.080 Policy on Freshmen Success

Bd. Min. 5-24-01; Revised Bd. Min 12-7-12.

  1. The average success rates for first-time, degree-seeking freshmen should be 80%.
  2. A successful student is defined as a student who was enrolled as a first-time, full-time, degree-seeking student during the fall semester, and
    1. was enrolled only during the fall semester and had a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale at the end of the fall semester, or
    2. was also enrolled in the spring semester as either a full-time or part-time student and had a minimum grade point average of 2.0 at the end of the academic year.
